The reopening of the EUIPO SME Fund, the incentive programme for the protection of intellectual property implemented by the European Union Intellectual Property Office, is scheduled for 2 February 2026. It concerns, in particular, the registration of trademarks, patents, designs, and plant varieties.
The fund, aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises, provides vouchers to support activities related to the protection of intellectual property assets. Official information regarding eligibility requirements, funding amounts, and application procedures will be published by EUIPO in due course.
In Italy, the following vouchers are available:
Voucher 2: Trademarks and designs
until 700€
Voucher 3: Patents
Contribution of up to €1,000 for activities at national level and up to €2,500 for those at European level.
Voucher 4: Plant varities
Until 1500€
